What's new in our Etsy shop this week ! We have made some custom leather phone bags. Each one is unique and different. Let's start off with the rust colored leather clutch with a zipper.

LEATHER CLUTCH WITH A ZIPPER

 This zippered leather clutch is perfect for your phone, cards and a few other items. It is made in rust color elkskin leather has a wrist strap. The zipper has a really cute heart charm. I just love that. This bag can be made in a different size all you have to do is contact us on etsy and we will custom make one for you.

BROWN LEATHER PHONE CASE WITH BEADWORK

This brown leather tribal phone case is beaded with the glass seed beads directly to the leather. This one is beaded in  black , red, yellow and white. It has a belt loop on the back that fits up to a two inch belt. This leather bag also includes an antler button closure. I can bead your favorite colors to this bag or make a custom rosette for you.

LEATHER HIP BAG

This chocolate brown leather hip bag has an antler button closure. All of our bags at  Thunder Rose Leather are custom made to order so you can contact us and we will be happy to make you a phone bag to fit your needs. There are so many different sizes that we just work with everyone's personal needs. We can also add a magnetic snap if you prefer.

Medicine / Amulet Bags

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Today I would like to share one of our cedar bags and a lot of  10 beaded medicine pouches . All of the medicine pouches in this post are handmade and handstitched by us here at Thunder Rose Leather aka Thunder Rose.  For those of you having summer gatherings or going to a summer gathering these pouches all make great give aways for your friends and family. The beaded amulet bags are all beaded with glass seed beads in different colors.

The cedar bag has double cut fringe off the bottom of the bag and is a good place to keep whatever is your favorite medicine is. 

Beaded Amulet  / Medicine bags

Each bag measures 4 inches tall x 3 inches wide and has a double drawstring closure. These beaded leather pouches are all done in saddle tan elkskin leather but we can make them in any color leather you would like. These leather pouches would make really great wedding gifts for your wedding party.

Fringed Leather Drawstring Bag

This fringed leather pouch is perfect for your medicines. It has long double cut fringe off the bottom of the bag and a braided double drawstring closure. This fringed leather bag is decorated with glass crow beads and tin cones. The leather is saddle tan elkskin leather and the bag measures 9 inches tall x 6 inches wide not including the fringe. So there is plenty of usable space for your needs.

Beads and leather

It's Sunday morning and I have been up since 6:00 AM . In Arizona,  this time of year you need to get up early and do your outside fun. We just went into summertime heat. So this morning Rosie (my furbaby) and I got up and went for a walk. Then we came back and did a little weed pulling in the garden. To all our fans , friends and customers we have some tobacco leather back in our stores. It is that beautiful  deep color of rust that we all love. It looks like this.

This is one of our native flute bags. I added a beaded hummingbird on this one. It also has a shoulder strap so when you go for a hike , go to the beach or whatever it is, you can safely take your flute with you. This flute bag also has a double drawstring for a closure and long double cut fringe off the bottom of the bag.

This is a very beautiful, functional way to carry your beautiful flute. 

We make these bags custom to fit your flute. You can also get whatever beadwork you would like on the bag. I do many other beadwork designs.

I love beading. I have been beading for around 30 years now. When I first started beading I started making earrings. Oh what fun! All the colors of beads and I had such a passion to learn all the new stitches and put it all together. Then when I discovered how beautiful beads looks on leather well that was it. 

I always liked sewing but I have always been attracted to sewing by hand. So most all our bags are hand sewn. We do some small medicine bags with our singer sewing machine.

Fringed black bag with a turtle totem

Good Morning! I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend.

 We are an all handmade shop. We support all handmade artists! So here is a new turtle bag from us at Thunder Rose Leather

Fringed Black Leather Bag

This is a front view of this black leather handbag with a beaded turtle totem. This bag would make an awesome everyday bag. It has long cut fringe off the bottom of the bag and a four point braided strap. 

This is a side view of this black leather bag. This picture shows the depth of the handbag. This bag also features an extra pocket inside and one on the back of the bag.

This is the back of the leather bag. As you can see our bags are all hand stitched with attention to detail. 

This is the beaded turtle rosette that I beaded for this bag. The turquoise blue beads really makes this turtle stand out. I lace around all my bead work designs giving them even more beauty and depth.
