My Eyes are on Spring from Handmade Artists

Today I will be doing a blog post to honor spring. A time of new beginnings.  Our featured artists are Kimberly and Andrew Kitchen. They are a lovely couple who are working very hard for the handmade community. They have two stores on Handmade Artists and are the creators of  handmadeartists.com website for all handmade Artists. Their love for handmade went to another level when they started the Handmade Artist's Forum where all handmade artists from around the world can come and talk to one another about Art, how to sell art and just kick back and be friends. They also spend a lot of their time promoting Handmade Artists. These two have what I call " Good Business Karma". Out of their loving kindness of others and Handmade Art they gave birth to a quality and fair selling site for all handmade artists. Kudos to Kimberly and Andrew Kitchen you guys ROCK!

I just found this beautiful Robin note card in Beth's store.

When I see a robin  I most certainly know that spring has sprung. I have fond memories of spring when I was a child. I grew up in Illinois and the springs were always greeted with Robin Red Breasts and their sweet song. Now I am in Arizona and I just love seeing these beautiful birds coming to visit every year.

Okay, so as you can see I have three totally great shops for you to check out for this new spring feature.

Now, I am going to share my shop with you. I love hummingbirds. They are another true sign of spring. They show up and start doing their dance bringing smiles to our faces. Here is one of my beaded hummingbird  leather bags.

My latest projects art and gardening

 My latest bead work project was a beaded hummingbird bag.

 I love making beaded hummingbirds. As I sit in my garden they will come right up to me and stop in mid-air to say hello. It makes me feel so good.

The hummingbirds are doing some amazing dancing right now. 

Another project I have been doing is painting a table and some free benches someone gave me for our garden.

My garden is doing real well. I had a lot of  trouble  with gofers last year. I had to redo several of my raised beds. The chicken wire that I have under my raised beds wore out and I had to replace it. So that was a big project. A lot of shoveling.
Here is a picture of  one of my beds.

It is very happy! I love gardening . It is so grounding .
