This elkskin leather shamans bag is ooak. If you need a place to keep your pipe, sage, sweetgrass, stones or whatever your favorite medicines are this is your bag. I beaded this bag directly to the leather with glass seed beads in fire colors. It also features an antler crown on the lid and antler beads and pony beads on the tied fringe down the sides of the bag. This shamans bag will just get better with age.

It measures 9 1/2" tall x 7 1/2" wide and has an adjustable four point braided strap.

The hummingbird is such an amazing bird always bringing joy and lightness wherever it travels. This elkskin leather beaded hummingbird bag is a great place to keep all your everyday needs when you want to travel light, or it can be used for a medicine bag for your stones, crystals or whatever you like. The color of this leather is a light buttery color (palamino) with contrasting saddle lace. I beaded the hummingbird with glass seed beads and decorated with red pony beads and brass cones.

Deerskin leather shaman's bag with beaded turtle

                                                    This is a beautiful white deerskin leather beaded turtle shoulder bag . The turtle features a four directions rosette in the center with eagle feathers. It is beaded by me, 

 Debbie Rodgers.  After I attach the beaded rosette I lace around it to make it stand out. This handbag has a flat strap that can be made any length you like.

There is tied fringe down the sides of this bag. The sides of this shaman's bag  are decorated with pewter eagle concho buttons and  glass bone crow beads.

This is a closeup of the beaded turtle, four directions,eagle feather rosette. The rainbow colors in this rosette is perfect for those of you who love the rainbows and bright colors.

The lacing around this beadwork adds to the beauty of this bag, making it feel complete.
