Today I decided to take a little time to go through Alix's store on Handmade Artists.com
where we are both part of a blog ring that works together to help promote different handmade artists each week. Our theme this week is Vacation and Alix is our featured artist. I thought I would spend a couple hours walking through Alix's store and blog about some of the wonderful items I see that would be fun to share as gifts when on vacation.
The Alchemists Vessel
Each item that Alix makes is made with care and attention to detail. Her jump rings are hand spun, cut or sawed and assembled in beautiful chainmaille pieces. Her gemstones are hand set or mounted and her chain is polished and made to shine.
Alixandrea is also the owner and operator of
"Little Shop of Artists"
a retail venue for local artists in Boise, Idaho to display and sell their wares. So, if you are on vacation I would suggest stopping in and saying hi.
Alixandrea is also the author of "In Chains" a forth coming e-book with 18 fun projects for you to make.
Alix's love of nature and the outdoors has inspired many of her creations. She tries to always use the finest quality natural gemstones, glass beads. and high quality materials.
Let's get to the good stuff. All the beautiful handmade jewelry I have picked out.
This charm bracelet is fashioned after tattoo flash. Dragon, lizard, crystal ball, Pegasus and a frog prince adorn the length chain with plenty of room for additional charms.

These multi-colored shells strung on long silver chain are light and delicate. They are perfect for the summer months.
